Yeah, I personally think of Oscar the Grouch, and I don't like Oscar because it sounds clumsy and the last syllable makes me think of the word Curr. Also, I like neither of the names, honestly, so much I can't chose.

I like Oscar, I don't think of Oscar the grouch at all.

It's slowly growing on me. I would never use it on my own child but it's becoming a name I can appreciate on someone else. For me, I first think of The Odd Couple, then the type of fish, followed by the grouch.

At the moment, I prefer Diego to Oscar.

Oscar is definitely growing on me. I don't think I would ever use it on my child but I wouldn't mind seeing it on someone elses. I totally forgot about Oscar the grouch until you mentioned it. I think I would associate it more with Oscar Meyer.

I love Oscar! Yeah I think of the grouch, but that's not a bad thing, Oscar the grouch was awesome! He was my favorite character, wouldn't it be cute to paint a mural on baby Oscar's nursery wall with a Oscar in his can? lol!

Oscar is way better than Diego

:D My second favourite boys name. And Diego is my 3rd favourite, so it's a pretty close call. I do prefer Oscar though. I don't think grouch.

I've actually just been to dinner at my mum and stepdads, and they are getting new kittens. They want to call the boy Oscar. I'm really hoping they don't! Thats my name! :(
