I love Thomas and I would use it to honor my great uncle who has been like a grandfather to me since my dad's father passed away when I was 4. I'd probably use it as a middle name.

I love Thomas nn Tom and would use it in a heartbeat except that's my ex-boyfriend's name (Thomas Lee, sister to Analise nn Ana). Even if I have kids with him, he's told me he wouldn't like to have a junior. I think it's an extremely versitile name, and I've only met a handful my age actually. Most of the Tom's I know are clever and fun musicians. Actually I can't think of any Tom's who aren't musicians. So I can't really use it as a first name, but my combo is Ethan Thomas. Recently I've been considering Ethan Thomas Nathaniel. I like colonial names.
