nicknames
I'm leaning towards the name Emmeline, pronounced Emma-line.
What nicknames could one use for this name?
Em
Emmie
Could Emma work?
I'd love to hear any nick name possibilities you may have,

I think it would be fine to use Emma as a nickname for Emmeline.

I love Emmeline. I wouldn't pronounce it that way, but I do tend to pronounce Emmaline that way.
With the "line" pronunciation, I think it really does just leave Emme/Emma, Em, and Emmie as nns. Otherwise there could be Lina.
Oh! I just thought of Mel. That could work.

Emma perhaps. Maybe something thats not usually used like Emmy/Emmie.
Emma is one of those names that you use the name as a name, not a nickname, or don't use it at all. Something less popular may be in order. If you get what i mean. Here are some ideas:
Emmie
Emmy
Emi
Em
Emz
Lyn (perhaps)
I dont know, but I suggest you do not use Emma

Are you pronouncing it Emma-Lyn?
Yes, she would be Emmeline, but you know how it goes sometimes, whether you mean to or not, you'll probably call out Cait for Caitlin, Josh for Joshua.
Ooh Emz. :)

Emmie/Emmy was perhaps my favorite name when I was 6.
Emma might work, but I don't really like it, and I'd much rather just use Emmeline.

Emma works fine, but there are sooooo many Emmas these days. I'd use the nn Em.
