I would not want to use it - it's not masculine enough, imo.
But, it's not ugly.

I quite like this name but would never give it to my child for the simple reason that here in Australia we say A-ron but any Americans and other foreigners would say it like the girl's name Erin. That annoys me more than most other things in the world so I wouldn't bring it upon myself to have to correct ppl all the time. The end.=)

I only liked it a bit until I got to know my best friend's brother named Aaron. While it isn't a favorite, I do really like it. I think it is an underrated classic.

I like it more as a middle name than first, but I prefer it spelled Erin and on a girl.

Aaron is nice and I've only known a handful in my entire life. It's one of my dh's two favorite male names (along with Ian).

I don't mind it. I prefer Aron.

I have always liked it.There is this piece by Bach that I love called "Der Herr denket ans uns" (from Wedding Cantata BWV 196) in which the words translate "He blesses the house of Israel, He blesses the house of Aaron." It's such a lovely piece that I am drawn to the name subsequently.I'd be happy to email the MP3 if anyone is interested.

A little dull for my tastes, but a fine name.
