I came across this name whilst watching the news. I find it so unwieldy compared to Crispin. Just a bit too disjointed; like 'crisp Ian':0)

Crispian is interesting and at least it is in the database. I somewhat prefer Crispianus.

Ugh. Unwieldy is right. I love Crispin and like Caspian, but Crispian looks like an ugly smush of the two.

there are:
6 Crispin
1 Crispinian
1 Crispina
2 Crispulus
2 CrispusIn French it is Crespin or Crespinien.Personally they all are to crispy sounding for my tastes.

I'm generally a big fan of all -ian names (like Sebastian, Damian, Maximilian...), but I have to agree with you on this one. Crispin is much better, imo.
Crispian looks like a hybrid of Crispin and Caspian.
