Twin names
So today I met a mom at the library who had 3 sets of twins:
Madeline and Max, age 7
Samantha and Sam, age 4
Annabelle and Abe, age 2
I noticed she had a pattern going: Full name for the girls, nicknamey names for the boys. And all sets of twins had matching first letter names. I find that rather cutesy, but WDYT? Did you like the names / combos she picked?
Aside from name issues, I was very surprised to see 3 sets of twins in one family, but she said they ran in her famiy.:)

The sisters go together, and the brothers go together, but the sisters don't go with the brothers in my opinion. The pattern is a bot odd, especially with the firt-letter thing; I don't like that. Samantha and Sam is really wierd- literally every Samantha I've ever met goes by Sam, so they're very likely to have 2 Sam's running around. "Hey Sam, come over here... No, not you, the girl Sam." Confusing...
Samantha and Sam is wayyy to confusing. What if she wants to be called Sam? Other names are fine.
Ditto.
I like all of the names except Samantha.
I really like Max, Madeline is nms but ok. Well, at least it's not Max and Maxine! Samantha and Sam's lame, Abe's silly as a full name. Annabel and Abraham would have been marginally better.
Overall, the sibset's matchy and silly, but I guess it could be worse. And, as concerns having so many twinsets, I can't help but wondering if she didn't undergo some fertility treatment.

Wow, three sets of twins! I'd be scared to get pregnant after the second set. And they're so close in age, well for twins I mean.
I really dislike alliteration, so I don't care for any of the sets. Madeline and Max are fine and same goes for Annabelle and Abe, but Samantha and Sam are horrible. They're practically the same name.

I don't like the matching first letters, but the combos are nice. Well all except Samantha and Sam, which I think is awful since Samantha gets shortened to Sam all the time.
I don't really mind the matching names thing. To me it's just a way to make everything easier if you can't pick between a few names; you have a narrower field that way.
I don't particularly like Annabelle & Abe, but that's mostly personal preference than anything.
I'm kind of unsure about Samantha & Sam, as it seems like you might run into problems if you ever wanted to shorten Samantha..
