I love the way Delilah looks. I love the 'lee' pronunciation (rather than the 'lie' one). I knew a girl in school named Delilah. She was cool and she's one of the few people I've never fogotten, mainly because of her name. Would I use it? Sadly, no, because I can't separate it from the Biblical story. OTOH, why shouldn't people use it? There are other popular names derived from Biblical stories that are sad or end badly. It doesn't mean those names aren't beautiful. And the more people use Delilah, the stigma will vanish, somewhat.
