I like Isidora but I'm not sure about Isidore. It sounds like "is a door" to me.

I really hate Isidore. Isadora (this spelling) is cute, though. I don't think the nn Izzy is guaranteed. If you introduce them as Isidore / Isidora, and correct them if they say Izzy, you shouldn't have issues.

I like both Isidore and Isidora, the male name with nn Izzy and the female name with the nn Dora, which I also love for Theodora. For Theodore my fave nns are Theo and Ted. I think I slightly prefer Theodora and Theodore to Isidora and Isidore, but they're still very nice.

A girl named Isadora wouldn't have to go by Izzy but it is kinda cool to have that option! Another nn could be Dora or Dory! :)

I love both names, but would be more likely to use Isidora than Isidore, if that makes sense. Girls can just carry those names off better :-)

Isidore is one of my all time favorite names! I like Isidora as a feminine form. If you had a kid named Isidore or Isidora, don't let anyone call them Izzy. That doesn't sound good.

I think that Isadore would get Izzy a lot, but Isadora could also be Dora or Dory, which would avoid the Izzy issue. Isidore and Isidora could also conceivably be called Sid or Siddie.
