I saw the same name on an older man several weeks ago. I'm a Christian, but even without the negative association, I personally don't think it works very well as a name. In addition, I've always thought that it's a bit awkward for parents to name their child after a religion they're not associated with. Even the name Christian, which I like and which is common enough, sounds weird to me on a child of non-Christian parents. If you are indeed a pagan and you wanted to use it a a mn, I suppose it would be fine.
