I loathe Brandon. I have a nice cousin with that name, but I still can't stand it. It's just so ugly.
For some reason changing it to Brendan makes it much more bearable, not that I like Brendan though.
I pronounce them differently and I don't see how they could be pronounced the same. Brandon is BRAN-dən and Brendan is BREN-dən.
