Esmée or Genevieve? nt

Both are soo pretty, but I am in love with Genevieve.
Esmé.
I prefer this spelling. I see Genevieve too often, and I don't like the 'English' pronunciation, it makes me cringe.

I love it. It's so elegant and a beautiful green and purple. With adorable nn possibilities.

Esmée has been ruined for the moment by the popularity of the Twilight books.

Genevieve. It looks prettier, has an interesting history, and yields more cute nns if wanted.
Once the novelty wears off Esmée (I like the double e spelling so much better than with only one e) it can look quite plain and ordinary - especially when the accent is left off by people. It would suit Genevieve as a mn.
