Camden
My sister-in-law and brother-in-law just had there first baby early this morning... they named her Camden Grace... WDYT of this name??? I have always thought of Camden as a masculine name.. but maybe I was wrong!"Never make someone a priority, who only makes you an option."

I love this name but only for a boy. I don't care for it as a girl's name.

It's less masculine than Cameron which I hat for a girl! I actually have met alittle girl named Camden and she was really cute! The middle name Grace makes Camden very cute and girls! Lovely! :)

Camden is definitely masculine! In fact to me it should only be a surname... On a girl, it is boyish, trashy and trendy...

I've seen Camden on a girl once or twice, but in the last few months I've seen it on about three little boys. I'm not surprised it's being used some for girls, though, but unisex names (or surnames) on girls are nmsaa. Maybe they can call her Cammie, though. :)

I think of the town in Maine. I don't like it for a girl at all. Poor thing.

I've seen Camden discussed for girls before, so I'm not surprised. And since it's a new name for males, it was very open to gender-switching. I like it about equally on either sex ... which isn't much. It's very trendy sounding. Grace is pretty but most unoriginal.Sorry to be negative ... Congrats to them anyway :-)_____________________________________________________________________Elinor'Why do people with closed minds, always open their mouths?'

I think it's masculine too. And it always makes me think of 7th Heaven, which is never a good thing.I wish we could open our eyes

Camden is BRILLIANT for a girl! I LOVE it! I love masculine surnames for girls... I find it kind of spunky :) It's even better when paired with something feminine like Grace. My cousin's daughter is named Carson Marie, and if you have read any of my posts in the past, you may have seen me mention Spencer-Kate as one of my dream names. I'm really into Camden Grace!

I don't know. It seems like a trendy, surname type first name that is better suited to a boy. However, if Cameron can swing to the girls...why not? I don't care for it, and I then I'd have prefered Carmen, but it's not my baby and I don't get a say. :-)Congrats to them."No one can make you feel inferior without your consent."
