Augustin / Augusten
Which spelling would you choose? I think I am leaning more toward the "in" spelling. The way I would pronounce it rhymes with Justin. aw-GUSS-tin. It doesn't end with the "een" sound like Augustine, to which I am not overly attracted.

I much prefer Augustin; though probably just because I'm most use to this spelling. Plus it's a masculine version, rather than unisex like Augustine.

Augustine...(m)Doesn't necessarily end in the '-een' sound. My high school was St. Augustine's and it is pronounced awg-ust-in. Probably due to familiarity I prefer this spelling

My fav. spelling too...I actually think it looks the most masculine...hmm..out of the two though, I'd choose Augustin.

I agree, Augustine looks way too feminine!

Definitely Augustin.

I like Augustin better.
Personally, though, I'd have to say that I still prefer August or Augustus.
Augusten looks like a variant. I don't like variants very much.
