My suspicioun is that at a lot of celebs pick names for their kids with the main purpose of attracting media attention with their outrageous name choices. So they probably know Peanut's considered inapporpriate, but that's exactly why they picked it. The kids will probably grow mainly with other celeb kids with equally weird names and so their names aren't as problematic as they could be.
Oh, and doesn't "Scarlet Star" sound like a brand name (maybe for beer)?
