I really don't like it. Too close to "knocks" and it doesn't even sound like a name

I don't like it for a boy. I like it for a girl. I know, I know, it's a surname-on-a-girl and I should hate it! But ever since I read that one of Zachary Taylor's daughters, who married Jefferson Davis and then died shortly after their marriage at a very young age, was named Sarah Knox but always called Knox, it somehow has a sweet nineteenth century flavor for me.So yeah, I like it for a girl. But not for a boy.

I like Knox "Knoxie" for a girl as well, except for the "Knockers" jokes possibility

Reminds me of Fort Knox, or John Knox, plus of "knock". I find it very unattractive as a name.

I like Knox, but you have to be careful with name combos so it stands out since it has a "soft" sound.Suggestions:Knox Michael
Knox Leopold
Knox Owen
Knox Raphael
Knox Leonard
