I don't like it. I find it silly. It brings to mind a scatter-brained airhead. I probably have this mental image because Daphne sounds similar to the word "daffy." Nevertheless, that's the image that it has for me.

You know, I never noticed the Daphne sounds like "Daffy" connection, but I had a hard time getting on board with Phoebe for a long time because it sounds like "feeble" to me.
I've sort of grown to appreciate Phoebe now because I love the way it looks, but just can't come around to loving the sound.
