I always imagine the delightful sight of a camel toe when I hear TOE-ni.

Maybe as a nickname for Antonia.

It's okay as a nickname, but never a full name. I'm occasionally called Toni as a joke because my friend's husband mistaked my name for Toni instead of Joanie.

I don't like it. I would accept it only as a nickname for Antonia, but I still wouldn't like it. But it's more abominable on its own.

As a short form of Antonia, for example, it's fine. But Toni by itself is a bit "light", for a formal name, I think.
A cute name, though.
