I love Lula as an occasional nickname for Louisa, Louise, and the like.

I know a little girl named Lula, and it's cute on her. Personally, I like Leela better.

I share the "rednecky" image - it also sounds old-ladyish to me, like she might have peers Earlene and Cletus.

I like the sound alright, though - I can see the appeal. I guess I'd rather see a girl named Tallulah choose it as a nickname, than Lula as a full name.

I'd also choose Lola instead. It's got a much nicer ring to it, and it doesn't mean "squid" in a foreign language.

I find it very rednecky and childish. It reminds me of Lula Mae, Holly Golightly's real name before she went away from Texas.

I think it's adorable. It feels very cool and metallic and navy blue. It's a neat image.

I really don't like it. It sounds very childish to me. Sorry. I would choose Lola for a similar feel instead.
