I do not like that spelling! Esmé or Esmée is nice.

I think Esme will become more popular, but it will probably never be huge. I can see it eventually making the top 500, but that's as far as I think it will go.

Esmae is awful, imo. Esme/Esmee is a fairly simple name that is growing in familiarity. There's no reason to dumb the spelling down.

I don't like Esme in general and I don't like Esmae at all. I prefer the Esmée spelling and the correct French pronunciation. I really can't stand the es-may pronunciation.
I doubt it will become popular because of Twilight.

I like to think that people actually having children are above Twilight-reading age, i.e., over fourteen.

Esme is better. And yes I think it is going to get quite popular because of the movie, unfortunately.

I don't like things that are spelled wrong. Esmée makes the most sense for a girl, though Esmé is acceptable. I don't like the name in general anyway.

I have no idea what Esme has to do with Twilight, but I don't believe that just because a person's name is linked to something that they will grow up to like it. Quite the opposite is very likely too.
