Shealyn / Shea
I really like the name Shealyn on a boy.
I know today it's usually only used a girl.
Is it absolutely too feminine?
What are your thoughts of it on a boy?
What about just Shea?

I prefer just Shea. I think it's fine for either gender. Shealyn is too trendy. I'd avoid using it for a boy because names ending in -lyn are so popular for girls.

Shealyn is ridiculously over-feminine and feels like a made-up girl's name. I'm sorry, but that just doesn't work on a boy.Shea, however, has a lot of punch to it and I know one girl and one boy named Shea. They both pull it off great, and the male Shea is a pretty popular athletic guy. I like it a lot on either sex.

Thanks.I know one boy named Shealyn and I named one of my characters Shealyn, but both the real boy and the character are gay so I thought while it may suit them, it may not suit just any boy.
Both go by Shea anyway.
I really love Shea.

I really like Shay / Shea for a boy and I don't think it's feminine at all. Shealyn however does look very feminine. Maybe another spelling would make it more masculine though I can't really think of one I like. Shaylin/Shealin maybe? If I had to choose between Shea and Shealyn for a boy I would definitely choose Shea.
