Fabulous role models

Love it.
I first heard the name in the 70's, watching "Shoulder to Shoulder," a BBC drama about British suffragettes. Christabel Pankhurst (and sisters Sylvia, Adela, and Mom Emmeline) were brave, interesting and wore yummy Edwardian, period costumes. :-)
In the 80's I saw Elizabeth Hurley star in a BBC drama about Christabel Bielenberg, a real British woman who married a German and hid Jews in Nazi Germany. Extremely cool. And costumes! :-)
Then I read somewhere that Queen Elizabeth II's aunt was Alice Christabel. I didn't see any pictures, but I image fabulous vintage clothing in my mind. :-)
So Christabel is associated in my brain with fierce, brave women with great wardrobes. Is there anything better? Oh, the (Coleridge) poetry association is nice too.
I love the crisp sound of Christabel. I can almost hear a bell tinkling. Love, love, love it. And the costumes!
