These are the names of some twins that I recently met or have known for a while.
Girl sets:
Anna and Hannah (drives me crazy.)
Leah and Adalyn (my kids. No comment).
Kate and Emma (I like it alright. Kate is not Katie or anything. She's just Kate).
Madison and Madelyn (Ugh! Madison calls herself "Maddy" and Madelyn calls herself "Mady". How can we keep them apart?!)
Lauren and Emma (it's alright).
Molly and Holly (good names, just not together).
Boy sets:
Christian and Christopher
Alec and Alex (Hate it. Too similar).
Matthew and Matthias (People really do need to pick different names for their twins...)
Matthew and Michael
Brayden and Blake
Girl and Boy sets:
Ali and Andrew
Faith and Samuel
Abby and Jacob
Emma and Ethan
Katharine and Alexander
Ava and Aiden

Anna and Hannah - basically the same name. Let's not have our twins be individuals, now.
Leah and Adalyn - Leah is cute. Adalyn's a little kre8iv, but it sounds nice.
Kate and Emma - boring
Madison and Madelyn - … wow. They could call Madelyn "Lyn" to at least tell them apart, but no.
Lauren and Emma - another Emma. Boring.
Molly and Holly - too rhymey, but I do like Molly.

Matthew and Matthias - omg. This is killing me.
Matthew and Michael - at least they're different names!

Ali and Andrew - Ali doesn't look girly to me. Hate Andrew.
Faith and Samuel - okay set.
Abby and Jacob - hate both names
Emma and Ethan - meh. If I see Emma one more time i'ma go insane.

Leah and Adalyn, Kate and Emma, and Lauren and Emma are definitely the best out of the same sex sets. All of the mixed gender sets are fine. It drives me nuts when people give their children entirely too similar names!

Madelyn - I prefer Madeleine and I despise the nickname Maddie, though for some reason Mattie doesn't grate my nerves as much, maybe it's the look and the fact it's MAT-ee and not MAD-ee

Matthias - Matthew is a terrible twin name, it's practically the same name!

Abby and Jacob - Not something I would use, but it's a huge step up from the others you've mentioned

Katharine and Alexander - Yay! I love Katharine (this spelling!) and Alexander compliments it very well

Why do people insist on giving their twins rhyming names? Not only is it tacky as hell, but wouldn't it just make it difficult to call them into dinner?
