Sally
What are your general thoughts on the girl name Sally. I really like the combo Sally Ann.

I really started loving Sally this morning! I don't like Sarah, I prefer Sadie and Sallie on their own. Very adorable!I think Betty Jean and Sally Anne would be just unbelievably adorable!

They would be adorable as sisters I agree!

It's okay, but I only like it as a nickname. It does work great with Betty.

I never really liked it until I listened to an F. Scott FitzGerald story on CD. (I'm so lazy.) The character was named Sally Carol. She was from the (U.S.) South and was visiting the North. The Northerners kept trying to shorten her name to Sally, but she liked the sound of Sally Carol. In her soft, Southern accent I had to admit that it was very pretty. That's what got my turned around on the name Sally.I know a woman with an 11 year old dd Sally. I should ask her the next time we meet where her name comes from -- whether she's named after someone or the parents just liked the name. Sally Ann is a little unimaginative. But in a world of Brytnees and Madysyns perhaps a Sally Ann would make a nice change after all.I'm still rooting for Betty Jean. But Sally Ann would make an adorable sister for her.

It's cute, and reminds me of Sally Brown from the Peanuts comic strip.

I love it. I love Sallie more though. It is slightly old fashioned though.

In my family we spell it Sallie, so I prefer it that way.Sallie Louise is a favorite combo.

I really like Sally, it's sweet and today it would seem quite original. I really think it's a same that it's fallen off the popularity charts.I think that Sally Ann is cute. My favorite Sally combo is Sally Willow.

I wanted to say Molly Vanessa has a classy 70s vintage feel to it. I love it!
