Nikita?
I'm starting to love this name on a boy, and I wanted to know what everyone thought of it. The combo I have in mind is Nikita Yuri (because Yuri is a total GP of mine due to an annoying kid I know by that name), but any other suggestions would be appreciated. TIA!

I love Nikita on a boy:-) The only thing I don't like is that they're generally called Niki out of Russia. Not a fan of Yuri. How about:Nikita Aleksandr
Nikita Dimitri
Nikita Vladimir
Nikita Mikhail
Nikita Sebastian
Nikita Maksim
Nikita Leonidas

I really like Nikita and only for boys. I love Yuri too, but I am not sure if I like the flow of the combo.

I like that you're considering it for a male and not a female, but it isn't my style.

Love it [m]I love it, and only on a boy. I'd actually forgotten about it (my favorite Russian name for a while now has been Vadim), but I like it more and more each time I say it in my head. I don't think Nikita Yuri is a great combo, though I do like Yuri (lol, I also knew a really obnoxious little Yuri). I'd actually look for a non-Russian name to go with it, but I've never been able to come up with any satisfactory to go with Nikita. A few tries (some with Russian names, just to contradict myself)...Nikita Vadim
Nikita Valentine
Nikita Sebastian
Nikita Thaddeus
Nikita Edward
Nikita Michael
Nikita Robert
Nikita Lionel
Nikita Leon
Nikita Maksim

I like Nikita Leon. I thought of another combo this morning: how does Nikita Leonid sound?

I don't like it. I just get an image of Nikita Khruschev every time I ponder the name.
