It might be cutting edge now, but I have a feeling names like Ida and Ada will become more popular. Ava wasn't used at all until a few years ago, and that name is in the same vein.It's still lovely, though. I definitely prefer Ada, but Ida is cute. Ida Frances is my favorite combo.

It's odd, but to me Ida & Ada couldn't feel less like Ava.

I know what you mean. D's feel more earthy and homespun. V's feels more flashy and sophisticated. I like both, it just depends on the mood I'm in.
