Re: Results for BTN's Favorite Name
First off, thanks for doing this. I know it had to be a lot of work.
:)And let me also just say--Don't we have good taste? I mean, compare this list to the current U.S. Top 20, which is boooooooooorrrrrrring. Thank you very much. ;bNone of the results are terribly shocking, but I'm happy to see that we have some downright underused names up there, right next to the classic, traditional ones.
How my Top 20 measured up:
Boys—
1. Julian = #14 with 10 votes
2. August = #7 with 18 votes
3. Gabriel = #6 with 19 votes
4. Isaac = #12 with 12 votes
5. Graham = #18 with 6 votes
6. Elliott = #18 with 6 votes (Elliot)
7. Abram = #20 with 4 votes
8. Quinn = #20 with 4 votes (I'm a bit surprised that a whopping 3 other people like this, lol)
9. Emmett = #21 with 3 votes (see above)
10. Rowan = #14 with 10 votes
(BTW, Henry was my #1 for a long time, and just very recently dropped off my list, so the fact that it's #1 on this board didn't upset me at all. :b)Girls—
1. Isla = #14 with 6 votes (I thought it might be less. I know this name has faded into the background a bit on this board.)
2. Nora = #14 with 6 votes
3. Elsa = #16 with 4 votes
4. Clara = #11 with 9 votes
5. Iris = #2 with 18 votes :(
6. Rosalie = #14 with 6 votes
7. Violet = #4 with 16 votes
8. Lila = #16 with 4 votes
9. Audrey = #13 with 7 votes
10. Vera = #15 with 5 votesMy taste in names might seem creative, unique or even odd in the real world, but definitely not here. :-/
