Zachariah

I like Zachariah
I like it. It's kind of long winded (ha, so am I...), but it sounds so strong and dignified without seeming ridiculously macho. I think it goes well with Lysander, but I'm not sure about the others. As for middle names (bear with me, I'm awful at this part), we need something with the same strong qualities that Zachariah has. Maybe...Scott, Joachim, Dimitri, Matthias, Emmanuel, James, Elias, Mordecai, Marcus...
Eh. It seems a little too much to me. I prefer Zachary. It seems odd with your other favorites, too.
Zachariah Evelyn
I know Evelyn was used as a male name but I would not use it as one now. Your son would be teased by those who knew his middle name and people would constantly be asking "You mean Zachariah EVAN, right?". Also, I have seen people try to use Zachariah and other Biblical MALE names as FEMALE names. Switching the gender of names is wrong in my opinion

I take it you agree it's 'wrong' to use Taylor, Emerson, and Kendall on girls, too, then. Right?
Evelyn is male.
Evelyn is a male name. It is used on females now also, but that doesn't mean that it is in any way inappropriate for use as a male name.
If switching 'the gender of names' was wrong then wouldn't you approve of Evelyn being used for a male, rather than the females taking it?
I've taught a young boy named Evelyn and he wasn't teased at all.

I don't "disaprove" of Evelyn for a boy. It is a unisex name and I understand that. But currently it is seen (in the US at least) as a wholey female name. I DO disaprove of names traditionally used for one gender suddenly being flipped by some "innovative" person.
to each their own :o) everyone has likes and dislikes

Zachariah Evelyn *is* a male :)
She never said it wasn't.
BTW Evelyn can be used on a MALE too.
There's nothing wrong with Sabrina's combo.

There was a time when I couldn't turn around without hearing a mother calling out, "Zack! Come here," or "Zack! It's time to go now."
And they were almost always spoiled brats. So the name Zachary left a bad taste in my mouth.
But I'm coming out of that now, and Zachariah always had a flair to it that I liked. I can see it fitting in very well with Lysander and Zev. (Aneirin gets the better of me, though. It reminds me of a cross between Asperin and an aneurism, sorry.)
ETA: It just occured to me that you might also like Zephaniah and Zacchaeus ("zah-KEE-uss").
