Re: Renn or Wren

Wren is a family surname for me, so I'm biased. But even before I dug around in my family tree I remember thinking it would be a cute name for a girl. I love the image of a small, energetic bird. Plus, there aren't that many feminine (or masculine come to think of it) W names that are usable. Wren definitely is a credit to her letter. :-)
Renn might work as a nn (Renata / Renee / Rene, Terence, Kerensa, Maren, Lauren, Lawrence, Laurentia, etc.). But it doesn't strike me as subtantial enough to stand on its own. It looks more like random letters thrown together, sorry. I haven't read your book so I don't have any frame of reference for it. I can't tell if its masculine or feminine.
