I never liked the sound of it and I liked the name even less when I found out what it means. It's just a surname to me anyway, sorry.
It's all right. I haven't seen it on boys lately so it'd be refreshing, but it's kinda hard getting over the fact that it means "crooked nose" lol. Not bad though.
I've heard it on a few boys, but I like it better on a girl. For some reason it sounds like a girl's name to me, but it can work for a boy, too. Depends on the parents, I suppose.
I love Cameron! I don't really understand its use on girls because to me it seems such a strong and manly name. I know at least 8 Camerons from babies to grown men so its popularity, especially in Scotland where it is the 10th most popular boys name, puts me off a bit.
My 10 year old cousin is named Cameron. I love him, but truthfully, I don't love his name. Its too soft for a boy.
I think it's nice. The only one I've ever known was my age. It could grow on me too, and since I'm in the market for new boy's names to like, I'll add it the pondering list. :)
I love it for both genders, it's lovely!
It's been growing on me a little too. I'll never love it and it'll never make it onto my PNL, but it's all right. It totally works for a boy and I don't like how girls are taking it over.
I like it. It's not currently on my list, but I could see it growing on me too. It's a little soft w/o being feminine (although you could use it on a girl too clearly). Yet it still sounds strong and smart. Cameron is a great unisex name.
