I would hate seeing it on a baby girl today, tomorrow, yesterday, one hundred years ago, or two hundred years from now. It's a name that I dislike intensely. It's very harsh sounding and just not attractive. The two syllables, both starting with the same letter. The last syllable which is the word bra. The way it looks written. Bar. And then Bar again. And then A. Ick.

It was quite popular in my age group, and I went to school with several Barbaras. I could never figure out why, though.
