I love it, but then it's my boyfriend's name so and it has lovely nn's aswell

I love Patrick, but I could never use it because it's so common where I live (in Ireland). You can't go anywhere without meeting at least one Patrick, Pádraig, Pádraic, Paddy or Packey, named in honour of Saint Patrick (or in Pádraig's case, maybe Pádraig Pearse). Its popularity in Ireland probably wouldn't be an issue where you live, so anyway, Patrick's a brilliant name. It sounds so classic, strong and masculine, and would work on guys of any age.

It's alright. Don't love it, don't hate it.

I used to love it, as well as the nn Patch. Somewhere along the way it fell out of favour with me (lol) or maybe I just started liking other names more. It's a good name, just not a favourite anymore.

I love it! It's been a favorite for a long time, and was what I had my heart set on to name Ben. I even finally talked my husband into it, who wasn't incredibly fond of it at first. But then I obviously changed my mind. I'd still use it though.

I've always loved Patrick, and I'm especially fond of Paddy.
