I like it a lot. It is quite popular here in Australia :-) I don't think you will have many pronunciations problems- it is quite straight forward and even if it was mispronounced, you usually only have to correct someone once. The only spelling I like is Imogen and I can tolerate Imogene but the e has always seemed superfluous to me
