Alastair
What do you think? I wouldn't name my child that, but if I ever write a book, there will be an Alastair in it.:)

I prefer the spelling Alasdair, its my number one name for a boy. Very strong and handsome!
Supernatural makes that name unusable to me. I like it, but it was the name of the demon that tortured Dean while he was in Hell. :'(
Cool name, though.
I think it's a better book/show/fictional name than one to use in real life. Too "weird" or "out there" for real life.

I've liked that one for years now...
Nice strong boys name
Very handsome name; this was one of the first names I put on my PNL. It sort of reminds me of Fred Astaire.
Love it, but prefer Alasdair, nn Dair. I would actually use it though.

I kind of like it. I agree with that it is only a good name for a character.
I like it, though I think I prefer Alasdair. Only because then I don't see the word "stair." It is quite the dashing hero name.

I like it. I like Alistair as a spelling slightly more, but it's nice either way. I probably wouldn't use it, but it's not too common and it's spunky. :)
