I'm not crazy about this name and I'm not sure why. It always makes me think of Valerie Bertinelli. Also, I know a Valerie that is about 20 years old, and she goes by Val (and I don't care for the nn).

I like it. It's a bit dated, but I like that it makes me think of 80's high school for some reason. :)

Nothing really jumps out at me, though Valerie Jane and Valerie Margaret I like. Hopefully there's something you like at least a little in there.

It's very 1940s and 1950s. I've never met a young or youngish Valerie. It's quite pretty, with a nice meaning, and I did see a BA for a Claire Valerie recently, which I thought a nice combo. Hilary is prettier as a fn I think.
