Boudicca
I remember reading once that Jeremy Clarkson wanted to name his daughter Boudicca, but she ended up being called Emily. Do you like Boudicca, or would it be a total anachronism today?

Being a huge Enya fan, all I can think of is her song "Boadicea."Can anyone tell me the proper pronunciation of both forms of the name? On the site, under the comments for each entry, there are a few guesses, but there doesn't seem to be any agreement.

This is very ironic.I have just started liking this name and have been thinking about it recently, and I was going to make a post on it, but you beat me to it. I like it a lot, and I guess it could be usable.

Great story behind it, but it sounds ugly. I wouldn't name my daughter Boudicca.

I find it quite ugly. I think Boadicea sounds a little better, but all I can think of is a butch female warlord..

I do love the name Boudicca. I think it hasa lovely sound. I don't think I Would have any problems with naming my child this, but I think I would be lucky to find a parter who was just as willing :)
I think my child would have one hell of a namesake!:0)

I think it's kind of awesome, but might be a little much for a person. I used to want to call a horse Boudicca. It could work as a mn though.

I know a little girl named Boudicca! :) Her siblings are Jago and Tatiana. I personally don't like it but it really suits her.
