Estefania/Estefanía
WDYTO this name? Does it sound better as (more like which version sounds better) ess-teh-FAHN-ya (first one; Estefania) or ess-teh-fah-NEE-ah (the second; Estefanía)?

Huh. I've never even considered the "ess-teh-fah-NEE-uh" pronunciation. But seeing the accent over the "i" I guess it makes sense.
I've loved Estefania for a long time. Stephanie never did much for me. But somehow Estefania intrigues me. It's so unheard of, at least where I am, but it's not so unusual that it sounds strange either.
I'm really starting to get into the "ess-teh-fah-NEE-uh" pronunciation now. I'll have to mull it over as to which one I like more.
Thanks for the info. :-)
