Agatha
What do you think of Agatha? I dislike Agathe, but I think Agatha is cute. I just really hate the nn Aggie, do you think people would call her that? Is Agatha ready for a comeback?

I love Agatha. It's in my top ten for girls.I think you could avoid Aggie, at least while she was young.

I love Agatha. I think it would make a kickass middle name, in particular. Aggie is really gross, though. I can see it starting to come back - not now, necessarily, but maybe in the next 10-20 years.

I have to be honest: I think this is one of the most unattractive names I have ever heard of. It's a witch's name; when I was growing up, my school had a big witch for a Halloween decoration, and we named her Agatha. It was the ugliest name we could think of.And if you really dislike Aggie, I would avoid Agatha altogether, because a lot of people would resort to calling her that. I know I wouldn't be able to help it.

I like Agatha, although I prefer the softer Agnes. Aggie really is terrible, and I think its inevitability depends on where you live. I'm in Texas, for example, home of the Texas A&M Aggies, a place where people dress babies in "Future Aggie" onsies and drive around with bumper stickers that read "Proud Aggie Grandma," so Aggie would happen here as sure as the sun rises and sets. It may not be such an issue in New York, England, or Germany though. I think Agatha could come back. I believe Agnes is showing signs of a small revival, and it could bring Agatha back with it.

I love it. I go back and forth on whether I like Agatha or Agnes better, but usually settle for Agatha because it ends in -a, which I like. I love the nn Aggie. I don't think people would automatically call Agatha Aggie. I also can't see Agatha making a comeback any time soon. Most people probably think it's too old-ladyish still, and they probably don't like the Ag- sound.

I do like Agatha, and actually Agathe as well, in the French (AGAthe) pron., rather than the German one. Agatha is old-ladyish, but in a good way. I guess it could make a comeback eventually.

I strongly dislike this name. I think it's very ugly. The AG sound is very unattractive.

I think Agatha is nice. Aggie is horrible but I don't think everyone would call and Agatha that.
I would be great to see Agatha on a young child.
