I don't like it. I would only use it as a middle name

I've toyed with Ichabod as a fn. But the obvious nn Icky made it just too unusable. It would make a terrific mn, though. Henry Ichabod
Karl Ichabod
George Ichabod
Jonas Ichabod

I was thinking Bo as a NN... would that work?

Ichabod, nn Stinkyfeet, makes sense in my head. So Ichabod, nn Bo, passes muster with me. :-)

Icky Bod.If the kid isn't a regular old Adonis, he'll be prone to "icky bod" teasing throughout his life, and that's BESIDES the extremely obvious Ichabod Crane jokes. What are you going to use as a NN? Icky? It's a really unusable choice IMHO and I'd keep it on the GP list.

I really like itand I'd be really pleased to meet one. But unfortunately it's one of those names that most people would go "ew, really? As in Crane?"The ick sound might also turn people (but not me.)I think it would fare better as a middle name. Which is too bad, because I think it's lovely and should be used more in the fn spot.

There's just something humorous and silly about it. Maybe because it starts with the sound "ick". And ends with "bod". I would really advise against first name usage. You could use it as a middle name, but in that case, I think your son would be quite embarrassed by it and probably go to great lengths to avoid disclosing it.
