I adore the name Hazel. I can see it on a baby, a young woman, and an old woman. I also like the idea of it being used on a boy. I once had a friend named Haze (not short for Hazel though) and the name feels unisex to me know. I probably wouldn't use it though. I agree with Rachel Shaina that it has potential to be very trendy.
