Lila and Layla
Which do you prefer and why? I really like Layla, not so much Lila because it looks a bit nicknamey and childish to me, and which in my first language I'm inclined to pronounce Lee-la. However, I like Layla pronounced like English speakers would pronounce Lila, and which I think is the actual Arabic pronounciation of Layla (as well as that of the Hebrew word for "night").

My friend just got a baby sister names Lyla who's adorable so I'm more partial to Lila than Layla.

I like Lila if it's pronounced LIE-la (dislike LEE-la). Layla is alright, but I don't see how it could be pronounced like Lila, at least in English.

I prefer Leila, as a mix of the two I suppose. Between Lila and Layla, I really have no preference. =/
