Nell
Nell's been on my favorites list for a while now... I've always thought it pleasant and feminine, and although it's a nn I think it stands well on its own.
What do you all think of it? Does it stand on its own?
What can Nell be a nn for, aside from Eleanor, Helen, and Ellen?
Also, combo ideas (either for Nell or a name that Nell can be a nn for) would be awesome, if you like :-)

I like it and on it's own. I think it's fine on its own, plus I hate all of its possible full names.
I think Nell is very cool and calm. I really like it.
I think it could stand alright on its own, although I don't prefer it that way.
I like it as a nn for Penelope best. I like it for Eleanor too, although I prefer Nora. It could also be a nn for Janelle (my cousins' little sister Janelle goes by Nelle/Nellie).
Nell Katherine is my favorite. Love that combo!

I like Nell a lot and I think it can stand on it's own, but I prefer it as a nn for something else.
Aside from Eleanor, Helen and Ellen I think it could be a nn for Penelope, Noelle, Noella, Noelia, Helena, Peronel / Petronel or Petronella.

I think that Nell is a really cute nickname and much better than Elle.
For combos, I'll focus on Eleanor because that's my favorite of all Nell fullnameables.
Eleanor Ruby
Eleanor Matilda Violet
Eleanor Cecelia
Eleanor Josephine
Eleanor Claire
Eleanor Rebecca
ETA I know that I should have thought of this a few days ago and there is only a slim chance that you'll actually read this now, but Nell could also be short for Ornella.

I like Nell. Sometimes I consider using it as a NN for Helena, but I probably won't [like Helena too much on its own ;]]. I think it's enough to stand on its own now. It's definitely a better NN-as-a-full-name than Katie or Ellie or something. Definitely would age better.
Penelope, Nelda, maybe AnNELiese? as full names? I like Penelope "Nell" a lot-- definitely different from Penny and Poppy. And I guess pretty much anything starting with El-. Eliana, Ellery, Elaine, etc?
Nell combos... definitely needs something longer (most 1 syllable names do)
Nell Adelaide
Nell Amelia
Nell Anastasia
Nell Audrey
Nell Beatrix
Nell Bernadette
Nell Bianca
Nell Blessing
Nell Briar / Briar-Rose
Nell Bryony
Nell Calista
Nell Carmen
Nell Cecilia / Cecelia
Nell Charlotte
Nell Chrysanthe
