I like Gabrielle. I like the full name, and I like the possible nicknames Gabby and Elle, too.

I think Gabrielle is gorgeous! Much nicer than Gabriella, which I find frilly and a bit boring.

I really like the full name, but I hate the nickname Gabby. I do love the nicknames Elle, Ellie, Brie, etc.

I love this name. I picture a strong, artistic, elegant woman when I hear it. I much prefer Gabrielle over the trendier Gabriella/Gabriela. Sticking that -a on there ODs the name on frill and saps it of most of its class, imo.

I'm the only person I know who thinks Gaby is a cute nn. What I can't stand is Bree or Brielle, and I'd worry that my Gabrielle would get that a lot these days.

I used to really like it when I was a kid, but for some reason now I think it only makes me think of a silly, prissy sort of girl. I don't think the name itself is frilly, but the sort of girl it makes me think of is.

My grandfather wanted it to be eiither my or my twin sister's name but my mom couldn't stand Gabby. Even so I've grown to love the name just knowing my grandfather did. I can't stand Gabriella, but Gabrielle seems to have a more classy sound to it in a way.

I don't mind it but I go back and forth with it. Somedays I like it other days not so much. I prefer it in the middle name spot. I can't stand the nn Gabby.
