I want to like it, as I adore Pascal (b) and Pasqualina (g), but Pascale does nothing for me.
I don't say it like either of the two choices though, I say Pas-KALE, the ending sounds like scale.
For a girl I just prefer the less gender-ambiguous Pasqualina, which is just delectable to me.
I can't decide if it would be ok for a Jewish child, it is related to Passover (good), but also to Easter (not so much the good). I want to say it's fine, but something holds me back from using it myself. Maybe because the majority of people I know only know of it's relationship to Easter, everyone is surprised when I mention the connection to Passover...
Pax and Callie are fine nicknames, I like Pax.
