I adore Pascale. This might move right up near the top of my list if I didn't have a bad personal association with a Pascale. Pascal is very high on my boys' list.

Anything can be appropriate for a Jewish girl--depends on what type of Jewish tradition she's growing up in. I would think it's ironic to myself, but probably not share that name-nerdery.

Pax is spunky, but a little affected. Callie is a very sweet nn for a sweet, sort of quiet name like Caroline, but I don't like it for more flowery names like Pascale or Calliope.
