Re: Jennifer

Yet another Jennifer here. :) I love my name, despite its epic popularity. I was always one of two or three Jennifers in my class, but it never bothered me. I was bothered by the nicknames Jenn and Jenny, though, and the way people would just call me that without asking...but since you like Jenny, that's not an issue.
Jennifer is still well within the top 100 and used by thousands of parents every year. It's such a pretty name, but, let's face it--the shiny has definitely worn off. Jennifer's more of a mom name now, imo, like Lisa, Heather, or Melissa. I think it needs a bit of a rest, and we'll see it revived somewhat by our grandchildren and great-grandchildren. I won't be surprised if it has a big future as a middle name, simply because there are going to be many Grandma Jennifers out there.
