I think it's a really nice name. I like the look and sound of it. Personally, I would rather use it as a middle name than a first name.

That's my name, lol. I have the impression it's coming up more and more often on the boards. It's incredibly popular in Italy (sort of like Sarah and Jennifer all rolled into one). It's good to bear in mind that some non-Italian speakers have trouble pronouncing it, and say "Franzesca" (how I hate that!) But it's not a bad name overall, I guess.
