I have a feelig that depending on where you live (and where people live who reply) the name is perceived differently. I think that maybe you should ask people where you live too, just to be sure that it isn't a girl name there.
Personally I really like Teagan but I also think Teague is great. An alternative could be to name him Teagan and call him Teague.
If you are the same person who posted about this name some week ago and has a son called Finn I think Teague would go really well with it.
