I have recently heard of a girl called Whisper. WDYT? I don't like it.

I think it's better suited to a horse

Eww. I had a D& D half elf, nervous and timid, named Whisper at one time but that's all I'd ever think it should be used for, or a pet.

Ew, I don't like it. Whisper sounds more like an admonishment than a name.

I actually like it as a GP. But I would never use it though.

I like it as a MNBut as a FN it dosen't have much substance.

Seems like a very "raunchy" name to me. I don't like it at all.

I find it silly. I imagine either a really shy child with a tiny voice or, by irony, a really rowdy and loud one.

Doesn't sound like a good idea.
She probably suffers a lot of teasing.
"Please whisper, Whisper!"

If you want to be heard . . .. . . whisper.I'm dating myself, but that was an old TV commercial. I don't even remember what it was supposed to be selling. I just remember how clever everyone felt in constantly repeating it. Over and over again.Sorry, but Whisper as a name sounds like a bad idea to me.

LOL. It reminds me of this really trashy couple I saw on Maury one time. One of them was named Whisper.

No, I don't like it either as a first name. I think it could work well as a middle name though, for a girl or a boy.
The reason I don't like it as a first name is that it brings to mind someone who is shy and feeling inferior.
