Ines
On the train home from uni, Lies encountered a little two-and-a-half year old French girl named Ines. Apparently, the little girl was very cute and sweet, and since being told about her train experience with wee Ines, I've fallen in love with the name. Now when I think of Ines, I think of a little sweetheart with pigtails. :) It seems I have better opinions when there is an actual human being with the name in question, lol.Anyway, what do you think of Ines? What middle names would you use for it?Thanks.

I've always liked Inez. The Ines spelling actually looks a less dated to me.I won't even attempt middle names after Wordsmith's impressive list!

So many lovely suggestions, as usual. Ines Apollonia is perfection. Thanks so much!

I like Ines, but I prefer the spelling Inez I think. I think it sounds somewhat exotic. I can't say I like it in the first name position though, as it pairs better with names in the middle name slot imo.

Ines is inescapably gorgeous. It's like Noor and Anais, in an elegant league of their own, for me. I would suggest it more, but I fear it is not very user-friendly here in the U.S. Even it's feistier cousin, Inez, is not always well received. But I heard that Ines has been popular in France lately, so thankfully the name will do well somewhere. :-)Ines de la Fresange (just kidding)

You come up with the loveliest combos. Ines Eugenie is very regal, and we both love the names Leonor and Solveig. *sigh* So pretty. I'm slowly warming to Victorine. It's super nice. Ines Angharad is dramatically beautiful. *sigh* If only the fates had been kinder to Inês de Castro and Angharad from How Green Was My Valley. *sniffle*
Thanks!
