I like both of them. My friend has a guy friend named Sabre (pronounced like say-bur) but whenever I see the name I always pronounce it say-bruh because of the girl from So You Think You Can Dance. I can see it on either a boy or girl.
I like Severin because it reminds me of Severus Snape from HP and I love him! :) I would actually use Severin. Severn, on the other hand, I don't like.
